Hello Daniel!
O.K. The (recent) paintings of Anna are all interesting. As portraits of Anna; I am not so sure….of the three I like best as paintings “Young Woman in Green” and “Green Woman” because the first one is not only beautifully painted, but the interaction with her is engaging and reminds me of Anna. Green woman has a wonderful spontaneous quality because it is so much about drawing and painting at the same time and begins to have that halfway abstract/figurative quality that I really like. The “Woman in Green is to me not recognizable as Anna. She looks much older and a bit drab to me. Hmmmm, don’t know if that observation helps, it is certainly well painted, but I think there is something off in the drawing. SO! the rest of your blog is also fascinating, you are so clear about your struggles to learn GO, Chinese, and Code and about what works and why; and changes you are willing to try to make progress. Really fun to read! I look forward to the next “chapters” Thanks so much!
